Day 1:

SLEEP INN HOTEL or similar B-L-D

Upon arrival to International Airport, our driver will pick you up and will take you to Sleep Inn Hotel for overnight.

Day 2

EverGreen or Mawamba HOTEL B-L-D

Around 6:30 a.m.: We leave your hotel in San Jose early in the morning. Admire the biodiversity of an astonishing protected area in Costa Rica as we drive by Braulio Carrillo National Park, a primary forest in 95% of its extension. Have a taste of our delicious Costa Rican breakfast en route. Be our special guest in a banana processing and packing plant and learn more about one of Costa Rica’s prime products (subject to availability). Board a comfortable boat upon arrival to the port and let this extraordinarily exotic paradise enchant you, as you travel along the Tortuguero Canals. Have a one-in-a-lifetime experience in this unique place surrounded by a great variety of flora and fauna of breathtaking beauty…A refreshing cocktail and delicious lunch will welcome you to Evergreen Lodge After lunch, a visit to the museum, the beach area and the small and picturesque town of Tortuguero is included.

Day 3

EverGreen B-L-D

6:30 a.m. Optional morning tour: Enjoy nature at its best as you undertake a journey through the canals, a network of navigable waterways of great scenic beauty crosses the park from southeast to northwest. The canals and marshes are the habitat of 7 species of tortoise. They also provide shelter to the endangered West Indian manatee (Trichchus manatus) and the rare crocodile (Crocodylus acutus). Back to the lodge for breakfast. Get ready to hike Tortuguero Hill or travel along the well-known Tortuguero Canals and have the experience of your life in this unique paradise of magnificent flora and fauna. . After lunch, take your time to enjoy our private trails, ride a boat through the canals, swim at our turtle-shaped swimming pool, or just relax. Dinner and overnight.


Day 4

Arenal Volcano B-L-D

After breakfast, transfer to Caño Blanco. A van will take you to El Ceibo Restaurant where you will enjoy a succulent lunch. After lunch, a driver will pick you up around 2:25 pm and will take you to Arenal Volcano Region. Lodging will be offered at Casa Luna hotel or similar for 2 nights.

Day 5

Casa Luna HOTEL B-D

Breakfast included.
Today you will have an exciting guided hiking tour at the Arenal Volcano National Park where you will have the chance to know the history of this amazing volcano as well as some of the flora and fauna of this region.
Around 5:00 pm. Prepare yourself for a relaxing time at Eco Termales. Ecotermales You enter a private gate and travel 1 km through deep woods before seeing fairy lights twinkling through the darkness. To preserve the intimacy, it’s by reservation only. Doña Mireya Hidalgo Murillo has an open air kitchen where she prepares a delicious traditional Costa Rican dinner with beef from their own cattle. You will feel like guests in her home as she chat with you. Her parents were among the founders of Fortuna and owned the farm long before discovering their hot springs. The pools are in the middle of lush jungle and their cattle farm; clean hot spring mineral water enters the large pool and flows out the other end, down the river. There are 3 small pools where cascading falls give a natural massage. Behind one waterfall is a natural sauna.. Back to your hotel.

Day 6


After breakfast, a van will pick you up and will take you to the Arenal Lake where you will board a boat towards Rio Chiquito, crossing the lake. Upon arrival, another van will meet you and will take you to Monteverde Region in a 2.1-2 hour trip. Lodging at Heliconia Hotel, Jr. Suite.

Day 7


After breakfast, a guide will pick you up and will take you to Selvanatura, where you will take a tour to the Suspension Walkways: This tour provides the possibility to walk through our bridge system and peacefully admire the wonders of the virgin cloud forest from the level of its canopy. Selvatura´s suspension walkways represent the state of the art in bridge engineering and construction featuring some of the most advanced techniques of weight support and other safety measures. The tour consists of 8 bridges of various lengths ranging between 204 and 480 feet. The total length of the tour is about 1.8 miles. This tour provides the safest possible way to enjoy the canopy and the cloud forest from its most interesting perspective. Back to your hotel for lunch.. In the afternoon, you can have any of the optional tours like horseback riding, visit to the Santa Elena village or you may just want to walk around. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8


After breakfast, prepare yourself for a guided hiking tour through the Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve. Take advantage of this opportunity to observe the great biodiversity of one of the most beautiful protected areas of the country. The Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve has earned its fame as one of the most outstanding wildlife sanctuaries in the New World tropics. Positioned atop the Continental Divide in western Costa Rica, the Preserve extends down both the Caribbean and Pacific slopes. The resultant combination of climatic and geographic factors creates temperature and humidity gradients which change dramatically over relatively short distances. The Preserve supports six different vegetation communities. There are over 100 species of mammals, 400 species of birds, 120 species of amphibians and reptiles, and 2,500 species of plants (among them 420 different kinds of orchids). Spectacular wildlife includes the jaguar, Ocelot, Bairds´s Tapir, Three-wattled Bellbird, Barenecked Umbrella-bird and Resplendent Quetzal.
Back to your hotel for lunch.. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight .

Day 9


After breakfast around 8:15 am , a van will take you to the beautiful zone of Manuel Antonio. Lodging will be offered at the exclusive Parador hotel, Jungle view rooms.
Enthroned atop a majestic bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean and surrounded by 400 acres of lush tropical rainforest, Hotel Parador “Boutique Resort”, is located in the most remote and pristine area of Manuel Antonio, yet within minutes from the World Famous Manuel Antonio National Park, the small sport fishing town of Quepos, and the local airport. Exciting tours such as canopying, rafting and jungle cruises are all close by. Just 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel, hidden in a secluded bay you will find the most breathtaking white sand beach surrounded by tranquil turquoise waters and jungle.

It offers all the expected amenities of a four – plus resorts, while maintaining a true personalized service. Day 10


After breakfast, a guide will pick you up and will offer a walking tour through the Manuel Antonio National Park. This park has four interesting geomorphologic features. The first one is the tombolo at Punta Catedral. The second feature is the blowhole at Puerto Escondido, the third one is Punta Serrucho and the fourth one is the pre-Columbian underwater turtle trap at the western tip of Manuel Antonio Beach. The main habitats in the park are primary forest, secondary forest, mangrove swamps, which cover 18 hectares, and small herbaceous swamps and open water lagoons scattered throughout the interior. The park houses a variety of wildlife, including 109 species of mammals and 184 species of birds…

Back to your hotel. Free afternoon to enjoy at the beach, why not, take an optional tour or just relax and drink a cocktail while you enjoy the refreshing swimming pool of the hotel. Overnight.

Day 11
